About Lani Hitchens
Lani Hitchens lives in the land of enchantment or as it is known to some, the state of New Mexico. Lani and her husband Carl live on a high mesa, sometimes called Unicorn Island, with a few bands of wild mustangs.
Her formal education comes from Yavapai College in Northern Arizona, where she studied graphic design, illustration and photography. But her informal education derives from a lifetime of studying the power that “Beauty” has on the human spirit. Her love of stories comes from her belief that stories are the best way to tell the truth, and that all of us are children in our hearts.
