If any of you listened in to Chris Hayes – (MSNBC) interview last night (5/5/18) with Victoria Toensing, a partner of the laughable husband-wife (Joseph diGenova–Victoria Toensing) “unofficial legal advisor” team to the POTUS Pretender, you should have gotten the following: She typifies the disingenuousness of her ilk. They pontificate as constitutional purists and stringent proponents of the rule of law, but, in truth, they don’t give a sh-- about either. Even… and this is a big even… if they believe the Constitution is set in stone, rather than a living document drawn up as a guiding principle template for all times that we might “hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men[and all women] are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” (Declaration of Independence), they don’t honor it’s intent. That intent was to guarantee even beyond the authors own relative time and conflicted loyalties a promise for all times that “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
These anachronistic throwbacks to the Old World invasion of Turtle Island and the ongoing genocide of Native People, antebellum days of African slavery, and reactionary Jim Crowe laws and lynchings want one thing, the “good old days.” But good for whom?

Overcoming rapacious thuggery is not work for shrinking violets. Working toward peaceful resolution, recognizing Michael Franti's (Michael Franti & Spearhead) repudiation of war, "We can bomb the world to pieces but we can't bomb it into peace" as a tempering centering meditation, remember Mother Earth's love is an active love. Consider, how Agatha Christie in The Last Séance describes motherly love: "A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity. It dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path."
