Shrouded Synchronicity

Saturday, March 26, 2016 5:59 PM

Underlying convergences of time, space, and matter are spiritual forces not unlike atomic forces in our physical universe, such as ionic interaction: oppositely charged ions (atoms or molecules with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons) forming a chemical bond of attraction. This is expressed in physical human life as female–male attraction. In contrast, covalent interaction: chemical bonds formed by atoms sharing electrons (subatomic particles with a charge of negative electricity found in all atoms) is expressed in female-to-female group bonding and male-to-male group bonding. Like traits gravitating toward like traits, forming their own subsets of emotional and mental gender identity. Cosmic forces mirroring the spiritual forces.

In the hoary past, human beings looking out at their world, and being closer to their essence, felt this spiritual underpinning in their lives. With the rise of the intellect, reason, science, industry and now digital technology, we have lost our perception of who we are as manifested consciousness, and thus have lost our way. Spirituality has become religion and religion has become politics. Politics has become the business of personal self-interest. A self-interest that looks at self and the world around it as inert  matter rather than consciousness and spirit. In the vacuum of this disconnect, partriarchy emerged and remains entrenched in our human condition.

I feel in my spiritual bones that these spiritual forces are now converging synchronistically with time and world history to once again inject the feminine into the patriarchy to restore the natural balance of feminine and masculine in the world. This imbalance has formed the construct for the warring universe humans have lived in and witnessed over thousands of years of human habitation.

Politics, religion, philosophy, and social institutions cannot in and of themselves bring about this rebalancing through their doctrines, mythologies or principles. They themselves are permeated with male-dominant imbalance, and have promoted it down through the ages. Yet change from patriarchy must reverberate in their halls and naves.

Our conditioned flirtation with patriarchy shrouds the synchronicity of spiritual and cosmic forces at play in our current presidential politics. Activists are rallying behind the standard principles of social-economic justice and missing the most critical intersection of spirit and matter joining connectively to advance women and thereby all humankind.

In the Power of NowChapter Eight, starting with the Sub Heading “Why Women are Closer to Enlightenment” onto chapter’s end, Eckhart Tolle beautifully explains the seeds of patriarchy as reflected in male-female relationships. A truly insightful elucidation that articulates persuasively the critical juncture we are at on the planet and how the inequality of female expression is directly proportionate to the dysfunction of our society. [A dysfunction that cannot be corrected by campaign promises and platform planks.]
