"Carl, I can’t begin to say how much it means to know people like you have my back every step of the way of this campaign.

"You helped us make August an incredibly strong grassroots month, and when we found out the McConnell folks were attacking us on TV, you came through big time to help our side respond.

"Our new ad is on TV across the state, telling Kentucky voters a story Mitch McConnell desperately doesn’t want them to hear. This ad has their side scrambling, and it’s why they’re so quick to attack me. They want to change the subject as fast as they can.

"We’re not going to let them. [Take a look at our new TV ad, and share it with everyone you know on Facebook].

"The reason this ad gets under their skin is because it captures an ugly truth about Mitch McConnell.

"He’s happy to cozy up to the wealthy coal barons—he’s taken $1 million from them. But when a group of miners with black lung disease drove 10 hours in a bus to talk about how they needed his help, he gave them just a minute of his time before walking away.

"Mitch McConnell has spent 34 years in Washington forgetting about Kentucky, and it shows.

“[Today, I hope you’ll share this video that Mitch McConnell doesn’t want anyone in Kentucky to see.]

"This team is incredible. Together, we’re going to defeat Mitch.

“Thank you,
Amy"
