We all are expressions of Consciousness in the absolutism of our ultimate identity – formless and without diminution – as proclaimed by many traditions’ doctrine. These same traditions propose that, in 1samsara, the forms we use in the varied planes and dimensions of consciousness circumscribe us to abide by the governing laws of cause and effect natural  to the specific plane to which our attention has drawn us.

We must, therefore, walk and chew gum at the same time: In those soaring moments when our consciousness occupies planes of incorporeal resplendence, and we saturate sublunary reality (Earth) with supernal reality (Sky), suspended animation is the "doing without doing" of meditative practice. But in those moments otherwise, when higher consciousness permeates our physical being for catalytic response to existential doom, it’s no time to run around fulfilling our bucket list. The world is burning (global warming), our democracy is on life support. Chasing enlightenment is not a matter of inaction but of right action.

1samsara : In Hindu and Buddhist practice, samsara is the endless cycle of life and death from which adherents seek liberation. In Hinduism, the prominent belief is that samsara is a feature of a life based on illusion (maya).
